California Fine Wire Co. offers a high quality PTFE fluoropolymer insulation that is suitable for many applications. PTFE is often a desirable choice when low friction, non sticking qualities are needed. PTFE is chemically inert in most environments.

We apply the PTFE coating to our wire in a thin layer. This allows us to control our tolerances tightly and keep our wire sizes small, even with insulation. Our PTFE coating does not require any primer to adhere to our wire, so the end result is a single coating, high purity PTFE insulation.

We are able to apply this coating to any alloy that we carry, and since we produce primarily in custom runs, we can build to a wide range of insulation thicknesses.
